Need a simple dinner?
This is for you.
I love the turkey tenderloin from Aldi. The Rotisserie flavor is the one I usually pick up because the Pepper one ( while delicious) is a touch too peppery for my kids.
I also love this frozen bag of green beans from Costco. It actually reseals pretty well.
But it doesn’t actually matter where you buy them or what flavor… they are easy and they are whole foods.
Pork tenderloin works well too.
And any frozen veggies you have
Or no frozen veggies if you don’t want to bother because no one wants them anyway.
I tend to cook mine at 350 to make sure it doesn’t burn. I also usually line my baking sheet because the juice can really caramelize on a pan and that’s a pain to clean off.
How long you cook will depend on the size and thickness but I usually do 30 to 35 minutes then check with a meat thermometer.
If I’m making a frozen veggies with it I toss them in a skillet as soon as I put the meat in the oven. After about 10 minutes I toss on some seasoning, olive oil or butter ( sometimes both) , and a little water and turn on super low so I don’t forget to cook them.
I have also been known to serve this with just some sliced up apples.
You can eat as is, toss in a wrap or on a salad if you prefer.
Its fast, simple, and you stuck to your no frozen nuggets rule.
If you have food allergies just check the package if you buy a premarinated one.
