The B Hive Written by Steve Fowler

This book is adorable.
The B Hive is the first book in the series The Alphabittles.
This book is dear to my heart because the author Steve Fowler aka Mr Steve. Mr Steve was my children’s favorite children’s librarian when we lived up in Massachusetts. The programs he ran were one of the highlights of my children’s week.
My family was really excited to hear about the new book series The Alphabittles. We thought it was pretty cool to know a real life author!
This book is very sweet. It takes place in a classroom and the characters are the actual letters of the alphabet. In the story the teacher ( Ms T) is reading to the class about Bees.
The pictures who are drawn by Klaire Gieleghem are very colorful and cute.
Another fun part of the book is the extension activities. There is a QR code that gives you and your kiddo some fun extension activities.
This book is perfect for younger readers. It’s cute and silly. Not too long and not too short. I like the it’s about the letter B by myself . There are not a lot of books about the alphabet that focus on each letter by itself. We really liked the thought bubbles showing end the character was thinking about during the story.
I am really looking forward to the other books in the series coming out.
I highly recommend checking this book out. My kids and I really enjoyed the book. ( not sponsored either just our honest opinion)
You can get the book on Amazon as a physical book or Kindle book.

You can also get it from the Alphabittles website

If you go on their website you can get a signed copy which the need in me finds really cool.
A little bonus for you
Before Alphabittles Mr Steve did some YouTube videos which my kids really enjoyed watching. There’s letter videos, crafts ( which take me back to the days of brining my kids to Alphabits at the library) and some other fun stuff like boredom busters.
His YouTube channel is called ABCs with Mr Steve.
