Carnivore Day One

December 3rd 2024… first attempt.

Weight :

I started with coffee and sugar free creamer which is not carnivore especially not the elimination diet I’m aiming for but as luck would have it my daughter wine up throwing up and I knew it would be a long day.  So I accepted this would help me avoid doing nothing.  If I don’t start when I say I will I usually don’t.

I decided to eat on the early side incase the day got crazy.

I made some very disappointing stir fry beef and eggs. Apparently I don’t know how to cook this cut off meat. I’m not supposed to be eating eggs once I get to the true elimination diet but again I’m trying to get to meat only then I can tweak.

I found myself hungry again not too long after so I decided to drink some water then eat.  This is hard enough without being hungry . I am very aware this could result in temporary weight gain since normally I can go until early afternoon without eating.

I made some canned tuna. I added mayo and seasoning.  It needed something so I added some cream cheese. It wasn’t bad.  I ate with some pork rinds.

I took my daughter to the pediatrician and resisted the urge to visit the Dunkin across the street.

I ended up having half a unless Wendy’s cheeseburger with bacon later in the afternoon.  I got some food for my kids and somehow got more than I meant to.

My two year old had a diaper blow out which I ended up being grateful for because my husband was able to hang out with him in between meetings so I could shower. Overwhelm had started to creep in and the hot water was a good reset.

Dinner was some burgers my husband cooked.  I forgot about no Ketchup but then decided I was going to just have it and not worry.  The crankies where starting to set in and I couldn’t be bothered to try harder if I’m being honest.

I went to an Advent group for my church that night. I was honestly going to skip because I didn’t feel up to it but it was as usual, very uplifting.

As it was ending there was goodies on the table, including my beloved diet coke complete with Santa on the can. I debated grabbing it but instead I decided to grab a seltzer water and walk away from the table as fast as I could.

I ended my day with a few chicken wings my husband kindly got for me and then climbed into bed before the cravings got the best of me.
