Chicken wings are one of my favorite foods.
A rare food because while they are still much cheaper to make at home they are still not the most economical choice in the meat section. More expensive than chicken breast and a lot of what you are paying for is the bone.
But… they are amazing and sometimes every little thing you do doesn’t need to just be based on the most economical choice.
I did not make them at home for some time because I thought there were a lot of steps…. or just more steps than I wanted to take.
I’m not a lazy cook but I am a have a bunch of kids busy schedule don’t want to fuss too much over something that my whole family won’t eat.
So one day I decided to just make them with bare minimum effort.
And it worked!
Here’s so I did it.
Hear oven to 375. If you have a convection oven use convection mode. If not don’t worry about it.
While oven was heating I took my sheet pan and lined it with parchment paper. It will not leave you with a no mess clean up but it does minimize the amount of things stuck to your pan.
Spread chicken wings on the pan. Or on my case just kind of plop them on it.

My basic way of cooking it is just adding some olive oil, salt, and pepper.

If that’s all you want to do stop here.
For some extra flavor add a packet of ranch dressing seasoning. I used the Aldi brand and it is yummy.

Pop wings in the oven.
How long?
I checked in mine at 20 minutes and they were perfectly cooked.
I do time my food but I’ve learned through trial and error sometimes food cooks faster and sometimes slower. I use a meat thermometer to check on my meat after about 20 minutes and it has saved me from dried out meat.

Enjoy 🙂
