Day 9 Sugar Reduction

No clue. My body seems to go up and down and I’m not sure how to make sense of it. Maybe it just really likes chicken wings?

I’m feeling it more today. I’m a bit anxious. I am struggling.

My daughter begged to go to Sonic this morning. She’s a character. She loves corn-less corndogs… she has me ” open” them by taking off the cornbread… so it ends up a hot dog on a stick. The woman recognized us and I caved and ordered. No drink or any other goodies with it but the biggest so heavy burrito… it was good… I normally don’t get anything on a corndog run but I was weak…. I was oddly hungry for 9am.

Around 11am I need to pick up my 1st grader from school. While he had been ok the day before he spiked a slight fever again at school. On the way home all the cravings hit. I desperately wanted something .

When we got home I went into the kitchen. Desperately wanting something sweet I cut up a bunch of strawberries. They were good….. didn’t quite satisfy the craving. I wish they did… but I would be lying. For lunch I heated up the leftover sausage peppers and onions. I ate until I was full…. but yet for some reason all I wanted was chocolate. I wasn’t hungry….. at all…. but I had an intense craving for chocolate.

I made baked chicken with tortellini for dinner. Some ate plain and some of us ate with pesto. I know some foods I need to be careful with…because as I was cleaning up from dinner I found myself picking at the cold tortellini as I was putting it away.

I drank too big of an iced coffee before bed. … I should not have. For anyone unfamiliar with bladder health coffee is a bladder irritant…. even decaf. It took me a bit too long to fall asleep because I needed to get up and go into the bathroom so much. It took care of my chocolate cravings but I know it was because of the chocolate syrup in it.
