I had a Prime Day fail.
Kind of… my girls are thrilled with the toy so that’s what counts right.
But it served as a lesson.
Things aren’t always what they seem.
So I purchased this kitchen set…

Just looking at it quickly it looked like a big kitchen set. Like as big as my kids.

These kids are like the size of it .

I never read the dimensions. 29 inches tall is less than 3 feet. My 3 year old daughter is over 3 feet so 36 inches plus. Clearly she is going to be bigger than the kitchen set.
So how was this a life lesson… well one it taught me to always read the entire description before buying something. It almore importantly reminded me that st first glance things are not always what they seem. It is always worth taking a look at something.
It also taught me to be a little bit more optimistic. When I saw the size of the box my heart sunk for a second. I expected a big tall playset and here was a little one. I was worried my kids would be disappointed. Nope…not one bit. They excitedly watched their father build it for them and made lots of yummy food.
All is good π
They loved every second while it was being built! They never even said a word, which is unlike them, about the size. They appreciated it.
